Contreau is Shawna Harding’s own 2003 Danish Warmblood gelding. He is a 16.3 hand bay by Kanudos XX out of Tarifa by May Sherif. Shawna found him on a trip to Europe in November 2007 while looking for young prospects. He has three wonderful gaits. He is a gentle, happy horse with exceptional temperament and work ethic. He easily trailers, cross-ties and clips without any objection.

Shawna has exclusively trained Contreau since purchasing and importing him from Europe in November 2007. With only four months under saddle, Contreau is already demonstrating natural uphill carriage and the ability for the upper levels. He was invited to the 2008 USEF Young Horse Training Sessions in Wellington, FL. Contreau is suitable for a good Amateur or Professional.

Contreau had a full set of Class 1 x-rays taken in October 2007 as well as a clean vetting. Contreau is located in Wellington until March 21st and then will return with Shawna to Aiken, SC. Shawna will also consider keeping this promising young horse in training until the purchaser is ready to take over the ride. Serious inquiries only please.
