“Flora” is an athletic, powerful filly bred and built for dressage with breathtaking elastic and floating gaits. Already a breed show winner, this well traveled filly placed 3rd at Dressage at Devon with a score of 8.5 on her trot, has won many regional classes and has received numerous outstanding scores. She has the energy and determination needed for an upper level mount, combined with a tremendous work ethic and excellent ground manners. There is no doubt that Flora will continue her already impressive show record both in hand and under saddle.

Combined with her phenomenal movement and beautifully modern conformation is a pedigree that is proven and prepotent. Her sire, Connecticut is a successful Grand Prix dressage horse who has received such honors as Horse of the Year. His pedigree combines some of the best Holsteiner bloodlines such as Landgraf I, known by many as the “Stallion of the Century” and Capitol I, who scored an impressive 82.56 in his stallion test. Flora’s dam, Ferdonia 2 is an impressive dressage mare, currently showing Fourth Level and schooling Prix. St. George, descended from influential stallions such as Don Gregory, CorDeLa Bryere, Furioso II and Grande.

With explosive movement and elegant conformation that reflects her extraordinary lineage, Highlife’s Floraboyd is a filly with tremendous presence that we are sure will mature into a dressage mare of the highest caliber.
