“Patriot” is an exceptionally modern colt with tremendously elastic movement and refined conformation combined with a bold disposition and remarkable presence. With a free swinging back, active hind leg and freedom of shoulder, his movement is nothing short of unbelievable, winning the Oldenburg class at Dressage at Devon with an overall score of 80.9 at a mere 3 months of age! Also at Devon, Patriot placed 3rd in colts of 2006 with an overall score of 82.7 and an 8.5 for his trot. Throughout the entire show he received 8 and above on every individual mark. Patriot has also won classes at regional breed shows, with scores again of 8 and above.

Patriot’s pedigree combines the best of both jumping and dressage lines. His sire, Pilox who is a successful jumper in his own right, is a son of Pilot I and possesses outstanding movement and drive from behind. Patriot’s dam, Arwen is a daughter of the Grand Prix stallion, Al Martino and successfully completed her mare performance test with a score of 7.43.
