Lansing's sire, Lemgo carries the line of Landgraf I who is a world renowned jumping stallion. Landgraf led the list of sires of sporthorses and his offspring have won just under seven million dollars mainly in showjumping, and in this respect he is one of the top sires in the world today. Lansing's dam, Chit Chat carries the line of Cor de la Bryere who is famous for revolutionizing the Holsteiner breed as we know it today and was said to exhibit the best jumping bascule and technique ever seen in the equine world.
