Services
Phelps/Hathaway Enterprises,Inc. provides quality professional photographic, video, and internet services at events we cover and in our travels on the PhelpsPhotos® Tour. We are usually booked at least one year in advance, and have been covering many of the shows on our schedule for over 22 years! Whether it's at The World Equestrian Games, or a regional competition , we provide quality images and related services, preserving memories, as well as promoting the equestrian sports we follow. Photography
We try to photograph as many competitors as possible. We take lots of photos, (more if you sign up with us at the show) and have them organized on our computers. For a shooting and service fee of $45, competitors receive a set of index prints, from which you can order enlargements with the the latest show specials we offer. Each page we send has 4 images per page.
We provide priority services to those who check with us at the shows, and we usually offer a special show discount of $25 for doing so! This helps us to serve you better and more efficiently. All photos are copyrighted. This means any use of photos in a promotional way, in advertising, on the web, in published articles, year end awards, either scanned or photocopied, or even e-mailed to a friend, requires permission and appropriate payment for use. Covering
mostly Dressage competitions, we tape individual rides, on individual
tapes at the competitors request. Each tape has a 60-second opening
of a collection of Phelps Photos, and selected video clips to music.
This entertaining introduction features some of the world's best
riders and horses. Whenever possible, our camera is located at C,
from the judge's point of view. These tapes are ready for the competitor
to take home at the end of the competition, and depending on our
location, our trailer is often available for you to view your rides
during the show. Many riders are able to improve their scores during
a show by taking advantage of this feature.
Be sure to check in with us at our display or with the camera operator in your arena prior to the beginning of your ride. You must pick up and pay for your tape before you leave, to avoid $20 postage and handling fee.
Our
company provides a quality product for a fair price to competitors.
We provide our services in exchange for a free location and full-page ad in the horse show program and prize list. We make sure to get photos of the show within by deadline to The Chronicle of the Horse, and will provide, upon request, up to 5 photos for the organizer to send to local publications for use promoting the show.
