Leonberg is a confirmed Grand Prix Stallion. He moves with enormous scope, elasticity, engagement and rhythm. He has a delightful face and ideal uphill conformation.
With Dr. Cesar Parra, Leonberg has shown successfully in Grand Prix and Intermediaire II, qualifying for the 2004 Olympics. His other accomplishments include second place at the 2005 Dressage at Devon in the Grand Prix Special with a 67.458%, and wins at the Halifax CDI and Dressage at Stone Tavern in the I-2. Leonberg is still a young Grand Prix horse with his best years ahead of him.
Leonberg is a perfect match for mares who are long in the back and need to improve their movement. He passes on a steady temperament and produces drop dead gorgeous offspring with the same up hill conformation and elastic movement. With his sire’s blood, Leonberg is a great horse to use to refine an older, heavier style mare. His recent foal crops have been exceptional, earning Gold Premium awards from the RPSI and Premium with the ISR/Old NA.
