Horse Shopping With Reesink Horses
With a large selection of quality foals and young horses, to choose from, it is possible to buy a dream, and for that dream to come true. With their extensive knowledge of bloodlines, and keen eye and ability to recognize quality, and talent with a good mind, The Reesinks have proven their success time and again with many of their selected young stock becoming top quality approved stallions, premium mares, and internationally successful performance horses.
Buying a young horse or foal, can make the dream a reality, for a modest investment. If you wish to leave your horse in training with the Reesinks in Holland this can also be done. Eugene's wife, Anna Beth is a talented and experienced rider with young horses a specialty.
USET Team riders Sue Blinks and Kathleen Raine have been doing this, successfully for years. It is much more economical to leave a foal or young horse in Holland this way. To leave a young horse in training with Anna Beth is about $500 per month. Clients can also arrange to come visit to ride their horse and train with Anna Beth as well.
Foals and young horses before they are broken are kept nearby at a well-known farm, which specializes in their care, with large grassy fields, and dry roomy barns for the winter months.
On any given day, there can be up to 300 foals, broodmares, and young horses on the property, and the farm owner can usually tell you who each one is and their breeding. There is a small veterinary clinic on the property, so that all vet work can be done on site. "This is especially beneficial to the horses, as the vet comes to them, rather than always having to trailer a horse to a clinic." Explained Françoise Reesink.
With a regular worming and maintenance program, the horses are happy and healthy, and can be kept in Holland for approximately 1,200£ per year.
