2003 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing Hanoverian Genes - Sought After All Over the World
Careers of a Stakkato, a Brentano II and a Weltmeyer began at the Verden licensing as did the careers like that of Goldfever (Ludger Beerbaum), Blue Hors Cavan (Lars Pedersen) or Beauvalais (Beatriz Ferrer-Salat). Horses, which contributed to Hanover like many others winning the WBFSH Best of all Trophy for the sixth time. From September 10 until 23 the licensing commission travelled throughout the breeding area to select the licensing candidates from around 800 colts presented for pre-selection. Already here the colts for licensing can then be viewed on our homepage www.hannoveraner.com. The admission to the stallion licensing in september is followed by comprehensive veterinary examinations before the way is free tor a colt to be presented to the licensing commission and the international audience at Verden. The licensing starts with the first presentation on the triangle on Wednesday, October 22. On Thursday all the colts are shown in free-jumping and free-running. This is the ideal day to gain a broad view of the complete age-group and to collect additional information from the staff of the Verband. On Thursday the licensing decisions are made and the premium stallions are announced. On Friday morning all the licensed stallions are presented again and are commented on by a member of the licensing commission. Here again the opportunity to get advice for the purchase of a stallion is offered. Afterwards all those licensed stallions which are available for sale are sold in public auction in the Niedersachsenhalle.
