USDF/ABIC Region 3 Championships

Georgia Weighs In

Gigi  Nutter and FarenheiitGigi Nutter of Whiteburg, Ga. achieved a personal goal: claiming a fifth ABIC/USDF title with Fahrenheit, her partner of nine years, adding Grand Prix (61.4%) to previous fourth level, Prix St. Georges, Intermediare I, and Intermediare II championship wins.

"He's still a work in progress," Nutter said, explaining that she bought Fahrenheit (Wendland/Lenare) as a jumper prospect, but turned to dressage after having her first child at age 41.

Anneliese Vogt-Harber and AdvantigeNutter also claimed the reserve championship in the open Prix St. Georges with Peggy Carspecken's Chronos mare Lestera (67.7%) and coached Adrienne Rogers, 17, of Newnan, Ga. to the junior/young rider third level championship (70%) with her Dutch gelding Milky Way (Columbus / Iris).

Another Georgia rider, Anneliese Vogt-Harber took the Intermediare II championship (64.3%) with her 15 year old Hannoverian gelding Advantige (Alderman / Agentine). Vogt-Harber also captured the second level open championship (70.1%) with Linda Sutton's 7-year old Swedish gelding Alexis (Amani / Notre Dame III).
