For the last five years, High Prairie farms owner Helen Krieble has been spearheading an attempt to transfer the property into a non-profit corporation which will become the Colorado Horse Park, along the lines of the Kentucky Horse Park. Not only would this be a big infusion of tourist dollars, it would guarantee badly needed permanent open space between Parker and surrounding communities.

Funding and land transfer efforts are still underway, with a recent Colorado State grant to extend the riding trails, which connect with a network of trails throughout the state.

Since 1992, High Prairie Farms Equestrian Center, located southeast of Denver near Parker, Colorado, has been the focus of top level national and international equestrian competition. With this facility, FEI level show jumping, combined training and combined driving events and dressage shows have a home in the Rocky Mountain region.

High Prairie Farms is a luxury, full-service equestrian center offering dressage and jumping instruction, boarding for over 100 horses, two indoor arenas, multiple outdoor arenas, a new Western arena with cattle chutes, show stabling for 400 horses and a top notch cross-country course on 350 additional acres.
