Virginia Dressage Association Celebrity Freestyle 2004 A Night of Fun and Entertainment for a Great Cause
Competitors are given a diagram of the arena with their entries, because there is a tree in the middle of the dressage ring, something which would never work in a recognized competition. "This is about having a relaxing, fun, and entertaining eventing." said co-organizer Tigger Montague. "Whether you are a spectator, competior, or judge, everyone is here to enjoy the beauty of Dressage and most of all have fun!" The event is not an official recognized competition, but one with good official Dressage judging, as well a announcing done by USDF President, Sam Barish who expertly informs and educaties the audience about the sport, the horses, and the riders. Whether a spectator is a Dressage officianato, or watching this equestrian equivalent of the freestyle to music in figure skating for the first time, everyone experiences |
