A“not to be missed” springtime equine dressage adventure, is the annual Kentucky Horse Park National Dressage Symposium, held every April before the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event. With its prime location, and managerial support, The Kentucky Horse Park and board member Margie Koffler has developed an opportunity for everyone involved to enjoy 3-5 days of learning from the experts, shopping with premier vendors, and exploring the beautiful Kentucky Blue Grass as springtime emerges.

The Kentucky Horse Park is in strong contention for being selected to host the greatest riders and horses in the world, in the sport of Dressage, Eventing, Reining, Show Jumping, and Vaulting, for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. When they narrowly missed the bid for the 2006 World Equestrian Games to Aachen, Germany, many European journalists and riders were openly disappointed. “There is nothing like Aachen, its organization and facility, but we go to Aachen every year.” stated one journalist. “We were really looking forward to visiting America for the next World Equestrian Games, and hope they win the bid for 2010.”
