No day of show entries accepted. All horses must have a stall for the day.
Assistant Handlers must sign an USEF Release/ Waiver Form.
Wristbands will be required on all Handlers when in the ring.
Dressage Sport Horse
To be shown in-hand at walk and trot on the triangle. To be scored 60% movement,
30% conformation, 10% general impression. No fee for Championship classes.

Group Classes
All horses must have been judged in their individual in-hand classes. To be shown in-hand and moved at the judge’s discretion. To be scored 50% movement, 40% conformation, and 10% manners. Entry fee applies per group, not per horse. Multiple ownership is permitted, but all owners must be listed on entry form. All offspring entered in “Produce of Dam” and “Get of Sire” classes must be named on entry form. *Entries in Produce of Dam and Get of Sire classes must be made by the owner of the dam or sire, or with written permission from the owner, in the name of that dam or sire. (Article 1939, Sect 1)

23B Breeders Group (2 or 3 horses of any age or sex, all bred by the

Dressage/Sport Horse Division
Open to all breeds of sport horses. Where entries warrant, classes may be divided by age and type. Classes must have a minimum of three entries. All division classes will be run in accordance with the USEF / USDF rules and under the guidelines of this prize list.
Equipment and Turnout:
Ø Braiding is optional.
Ø Bridles are mandatory on two-year-olds and older. A bridle shall consist of a snaffle-type bit with two reins and headstall with throatlatch. Noseband is optional. A split or single chain may be used instead of reins.
Ø Handlers are permitted to have one assistant if necessary.
Ø Handler and/or assistant may each carry only one whip or one standard lunging whip without attachments.
Ø Conservative sports attire is recommended for the handler and assistant.
Ø All foals must be under the control of a handler.
Ø All handlers of horses in the competition ring are required to sign entry blank and must be USEF members or pay a non-member fee (assistant handlers are exempt from nonmember fee).
Ø Judge must excuse from the ring any unruly horse or one whose actions threaten to endanger other exhibitors or their entries.
Class Procedure – In Hand Classes on the Triangle
Ø Horses will be individually judged on the triangle. The triangle measures approximately 30 meters on each side.
Ø Highest scoring horses may be asked to return to the ring for a lineup & re-evaluation.
Ø When called by the Ringmaster, present horse to the judge at A for conformation judging.
Class Procedure - Materiale Classes
Materiale class horses at least 36 months of age will be evaluted according to the criteria listed on the “USDF Dressage Sport Horse Prospects Under Saddle”. Individual Score Sheet and classes must be conducted according to the USDF “Procedures to Host USDF DSHB Materiale Classes.” To be shown at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the arena. The 4 and 5 year old horses may be asked to lenghten the stride at the trot and canter. After all horses have completed the under saddle portion of the class, horses will be lined up and stripped for conformation judging. One handler for each horse may enter the arena to remove the saddle for presentaion of the horse to the judge. Time allowed (approximately 4 minutes) from the time handlers enter arena to start of in-hand judging.
