- 11:30 AM - 1PM Welcome Lunch
Join us for a relaxing brunch at the Stonelea Pavilion and have the
opportunity to observe the Breed Show while you enjoy lunch. Open to all
MSEDA Competitors, national championship competitors, grooms, parents,
owners and volunteers.
- 5:30 - 7:30 PM Competitors Party
Open to competitors, parents, owners, grooms and volunteers! At the
end of the party members of the ground Jury will stroll through the barns to
judge the best tack rooms! So be ready! The prizes for the best theme, most
luxurious and the funniest will be worth the effort! Besides it is lots of fun!! The
Competitors Party is beingbrought to you by Clark County Special Olympics.
Suggested Donation of $5.00 - $10.00.

- Noon - 5:00 PM Golf Outing
Yes! Back by popular demand! There is something for your spouse
and significant others to do! It’s guiltless golf! Enjoy a relaxing day at
one of Lexington’s most beautiful 18 Hole golf courses. It’s in close
proximity of the Horse Park off of I- 75. The cost for the afternoon is
$60.00 which includes the green fee and golf cart. (OOPS! Now, this
one won’t happen in the rain – guaranteed!) Sign up on the entry form

- 6:00 PM to Midnight - Black Tie Gala Dinner
“ The Symphony of Equus.. The Rhythm of the Dance”
To be held at the famous “Rolex Four Star” Johnson Arena at The Kentucky
Horse Park. An unforgetable evening of cocktails, gourmet meals and live
auction while feasting your eyes on frerstyles to live orchestral music!

My Ole Kentucky Nights
This is a not to be missed Family event! Enjoy a casual evening of dinner,
dancing and touring the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park privately hosted by the Special Events Departments Coordinator of the Park. The evening includes:
- A Special Welcome to the Park- Receive your official souvenir bandana to set
the mood for your casual evening of Kentucky country fun. Learn about the
Park’s history and visit the burial site of legendary Man O’War.
- A Hayride – When did you do this last? A real old-fashioned treat!
- A Visit to the International Museum of the Horse – Discover 58 million years of equine history in a self-guided tour to explore the development of the
relationship between man and the horse.
- A Taste of the Bluegrass- After all the touring it’s Chow Time!
- Real Kentucky Fare – Kentucky Style Burgoo and Fried Chicken, pulled
Barbecued Pork, Cornbread and rolls, shredded Farmer’s Slaw, Green Beans, pecan pie, Iced tea and coffee. YUMMY!
- Entertainment! - Professional Cloggers and square dancers show guests just
how easy it is to join in the fun. It’s a genuine, foot-stompin, good “ole” time. Get ready for dancing!

Demonstrations throughout the Show!
Every day there will be a noon time demonstration during lunch break in the
main arenas for your enjoyment! They will include:
- Denny and “Spanky” - This dynamic duo will
demonstrate the jobs of the AQHA Ranch and
Versatility Horse. “Spanky” is a bonafide and wellknown
champion in those divisions.
- Trooper Roy N. Foster - Mounted Police
demonstration. Watch out criminals! Officer Foster
will demonstrate mounted police techniques.
- Green Hill Therapy, Inc. - Demonstration and
- Competition Riding Class - to be judged by a
member of the Ground Jury. Green Hill Therapy
students will vie for top honors in a special riding
class and demonstration to be run by the staff. Come
and cheer on these avid competitors and learn more
about Green Hill Therapy programs.
