Team Liberty In the Lead After the Team Test

Team Liberty won the gold the day afterAfter the frist day of official competition for the Junior Dressage Team Championships completed, Team Liberty is in the Lead. Team Liberty is comprised of Noel Williams, Reena Idnani, Ryan Michelle Eskridge and Amanda Stearns. Heading up Liberty’s team as well as achieving the highest score in round one was Noel Williams of Ohio riding the 12-year-old Hannoverian stallion, Pik-L (x Pik Bube) with an impressive 66.752%. Helping out the team right behind Noel was Reena Idnani aboard her 10-year-old Dutch warm blood gelding Levant with a 65.726% and finishing off the team score for the day was Ryan Michelle Eskridge riding her 10-year-old Oldenburg gelding, Rubin (x Rohdiamant) with a 62.564%.

Team Independence is sitting in silver medal contention currently. The team’s four members are Jennifer Dainer, Ana Di Gironimo, Jamie Edwards and Arianne Weiss. Head rider Jennifer Dainer stood true to form today bringing in the highest scored ride for the team aboard her 10-year-old Rhinelander gelding, Troll (x Tanzer) scoring a 64.274% in the team test. Right behind her was team mate Ana Di Gironimo aboard the lovely and very cute gray 15-year-old Dutch warm blood gelding, Cadanz bringing in a well-deserved 64.103% for her team. Completing the team’s overall standing currently is Jamie Edwards and her Dutch warm blood gelding, Nero receiving a 61.795% from the judges.

Sliding into the bronze medal position after the first of two rounds of competition was Team Freedom comprised of Caroline Roffman, Eloise Aud, Kelly Gormley and Jordan Meadows. Eloise Aud’s impressive 63.761% ride aboard her adorable Rhinelander pony gelding, Crocodile Dundee, Kelly Gormley’s 61.709% ride aboard her Dutch warm blood gelding, Irioso and Caroline Roffman’s 61.538% ride aboard her dynamic Dutch warm blood gelding, Bulgari 5 completed the team average for the first day.

Day two will be the Junior Individual Test in the Dixon Oval Arena followed by medal award ceremonies. The junior with the highest individual average for the weekend will receive one free week or training and board in Hagen, Germany.
