Pati Pierucci and Hampton Green's Idilio Earn the Highest Grand Prix Score at Zada Enterprises, LLC Dressage by the Bay

Traverse City, Michigan - July 28, 2006: Hampton Green Farm’s Andalusian Stallion Idilio and rider Pati Pierucci outscored the competition at Zada Enterprises, LLC’s Dressage by the Bay, Series I to take home top honors in the Grand Prix. Gary Rockwell of Wellington, Florida judged today’s classes where the pair scored 64.167% to take home the win to Fruitport, Michigan.

Series II Dressage highlights include an additional two days of sold out dressage competition plus the “Fiesta for Hope” Equestrian Aid Foundation Charity Benefit Party sponsored by Hampton Green Farm and Horse Sports by the Bay, Inc. Located in the Hospitality Tent at Horse Shows by the Bay, the charity fundraiser is to include a silent auction hosted by six-time Olympian Robert Dover and an exhibitor’s party featuring Spanish themed cuisine donated and prepared by Chef Frederic of Wellington, Florida.

The mission for Saturday’s events is to raise money for equestrians in need. Auction items include lessons donated by Robert Dover and Romance Farm; lessons with WCHR Hunter Rider Champion Scott Stewart; lessons with National Horse Show Leading Hunter Rider and Top Equitation & Jumper Trainer Ken Berkley; Designer Clothing; Jewelry; Tack and Apparel, plus Fine Art and other merchandise donated by local and nation wide sponsors.

Wrapping up the final three weeks of equestrian competition at Horse Shows by the Bay will be the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior-Amateur Owner Prix and the $25,000 D-BRAIDER Cherry Capital Classic Grand Prix. Wilhelm Gehn of Lebanon, Ohio is looking forward to Sunday’s show jumping class where he hopes to repeat his performance of last year on Happy Z. This week in the Welcome he placed first, second and fourth taking home a lion’s share of the prize money and winning prizes.
