I am, however, powerfully swayed by the twin facts that my wonderful wife, Ruth, and I are owned by an excruciatingly cute Corgi (her name is Fiona) while Ruth’s boss (who is herself excruciatingly cute) and her family live with a bundle of energy impersonating a Parson Russell Terrier.
