2006 Dressage at Devon

Viva's Salieri and Cobra Win the FEI Young Horse Classes

Tom Dvorak on Viva's SalieriFriday at 2006 Dressage at Devon was capped off with the FEI Young Horse classes for 5 and 6-year olds, which also counted as the North American Breeders Futurity Championship Finals.

The 5-year old division was won by Canadian Tom Dvorak aboard the Canadian bred Hanoverian Viva's Salieri. With a score of 81.600 points, Dvorak stayed far ahead of the second placed Kendra Menzies. She scored 73.800 on the Trakehner Kosmisch (by Happy Hour). Dvorak's Viva's Salieri is bred and owned by Augustin Walch and the stallion is by Viva Voltaire out of Salinja.

 

Pam Doolittle on CobraThe 6-year old division was won by Pamela Doolittle on her attractive young dressage horse Cobra. Doolittle finished third at the 2006 USEF/Markel National Young Horse Championships in Lexington, Kentucky, and at Dressage at Devon she claimed victory with a score of 72.200. Her U.S. bred Cobra is a Hanoverian by Contucci out of Work of Art. Hank Hutson and Pacino, an Oldenburg by Parabol out of Corthena, placed second with 69.600.
