Ringoes, NJ- Dressage Icon, Betsy Steiner was the featured speaker at the recent Hunterdon Horse Expo hosted by the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce in Ringoes, New Jersey.

Steiner who is a USDF Gold Medalist and represented the US Team at the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm, Sweden, gave demonstrations at the Expo on The Elements of the Training Pyramid and Purchasing a Performance Horse. Steiner, who is fluent in German, hosts horse buying trips to Europe and shared many tips on selecting and purchasing a new horse with attendees. Both sessions were well attended and were the highlights of the Expo. Steiner also autographed copies of her book, “Mind, Body & Spirit, A Gymnastic Riding System”.

“We were so fortunate to have Betsy (Steiner) as our featured presenter”, said Susan Lax, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce, “She is so knowledgeable and but at same time is so approachable”.

The entire Steiner Dressage team including trainers, Jessie Steiner and Javier Giaona, assisted at the Expo. “We are gearing for a busy summer season here in New Jersey and accepting horses in training for our new young horse program, then in the fall we are planning on training in Europe and facilitating horse buying trips. In the winter, we will return to our base in Florida to train and compete for the winter”, Steiner revealed. In December, Steiner is scheduled as a guest speaker at the United States Dressage Federation’s Annual Convention in Orlando.
