Returns as Sponsor of Triple Crown of Combined Driving

Driving is pleased to announce that Jaguar Cars has returned as title
sponsor.
Jaguar
Cars, well-known as the manufacturer of sporty and luxurious automobiles,
is famous throughout the world for its sleek cars. The 2001 Jaguar Triple
Crown of Combined Driving includes The Laurels Driving Event on September
7-9 in Unionville, PA, The Gladstone Driving Event on September 21-23
in Gladstone, NJ, and The Fair Hill International on October 26-28 in
Fair Hill, MD.

of the Triple Crown," said James O'Rourke, spokesperson for the
Jaguar Triple Crown of Combined Driving. "The Jaguar name is synonymous
with elegance and class, and its support of the Triple Crown adds a
great deal to the Triple Crown and the sport of combined driving."
The Jaguar
Triple Crown competition is open to horses showing in the Singles or
Pairs divisions at the Advanced Level and there is no U.S. citizenship
requirement. Drivers must compete at each of the three participating
events. The Jaguar Triple Crown champion is determined by adding each
competitors two best final scores from the three events with the
championship being awarded to the driver with the lowest combined score
from his/her two best events.
Each leg
of the Triple Crown hosts a different national championship. The Laurels
Driving Event holds the American Horse Shows Association (AHSA) National
Pony Championship, The Gladstone Driving Event hosts the United States
Equestrian Team (USET) Pairs Championship, and the Fair Hill International
hosts both the USET Four-In-Hand Championship and AHSA National Singles
Championship.
