In Australia she trains with Wayne Rogroff. Arriving in the US before the event, Bunn and her horse went to Aiken, SC to work with Phillip Dutton and his wife Evie. "I couldn't have done it without them," she said.

Bunn is not new to four-star competition, having placed seventh on G.V. Braveheart at the World Equestrian Games in Rome. G.V. Top of the Line is long-listed for the WEG in Jerez, Spain this summer. "This event is a notch up from Adelaide," she said, referring to the four-star event in Australia where she ran her horse before but didn't complete. "It's every bit as tough as we expected."

This was her first-ever trip to the United States, but hopefully not her last. Of the pastoral Thoroughbred farms in Lexington she exclaimed, "Kentucky is second to none!"
