Event at Jackson Hole Bigger and Better Than Ever
Karly Pestl and Madison from Washington State, Win Advanced
Karly Pestl and her Thoroughbred Madison raced around the course to post the only double clear advanced cross country round. The pair returned with plenty of jump Sunday to add no jumping faults to their final score for the win. Twenty-one-year-old Pestl of Renton, had never ridden at Jackson before, but after winning the CIC** at the Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Mont., decided to move her mare up to advanced in Wyoming. Her decision brought five other horses and riders to Jackson from Napoleon Limited Equestrian Center, the 23-stall barn her sister Michele Pestl and family own and operate. In addition to Karly, Michele coached the preliminary B division winner Jamie Lawrence of Seattle and her Thoroughbred gelding, Malik. Perfect Preparation for Heideman's Trip to The World Cup
Heidemann of Bellingham, is now preparing her Belgium Warmblood/Thoroughbred gelding for the trip to Pau, France, for the World Cup in October. |
