The Shadow Olympic Squad will be reviewed after the Sydney event and once veterinary examinations are conducted on both the Australian and overseas based horses the team of 5 horses and riders for Athens will be selected prior to the AOC deadline of July 9th.

For Your Information - Australia won the team gold medal in Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney to set an Olympic record in Equestrian sport. A 4th gold in Athens will extend this record in what is already the greatest sequence of Olympic results in the Eventing discipline. The main competitors will be Great Britain, USA, France and New Zealand. At the 2002 World Games, USA placed 1st, France 2nd, Great Britain 3rd and Australia 4th, less than one point behind Great Britain.
