A former pony clubber who was born and raised in Victoria, Australia, Lois Henry obtained her BHSAI certificate at Burton Hall in Ireland. She married an American, has two daughters, one of whom was an Area 6 Young Rider and lives in Fresno, California.

She is an AHSA "S" Dressage and "R" Combined Training Judge and has earned her Bronze and Silver USDF Medals.

Lois is past president of the California Dressage Society and is currently President of the United States Combined Training Association, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the AHSA and the USET.
