Introduction to Eventing
Developed from the cavalry competitions in the early 1900's, which tested officers' mounts, this demanding and exciting sport encompasses three separate tests, each scored individually but added together for final results, thus the term"combined training." These scores are in the form of penalty points: the competitor with the lowest score is the winner.
