2004 Olympic Equestrian Teams Submitted to USOC

July 22, 2004 - The United States Equestrian Federation has submitted to the United States Olympic Committee the official teams for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. The teams are as follows:

The Eventing replacement riders are not ranked. The alternate going to Athens will be named on August 9th.

The Show Jumping and Dressage teams are currently in Europe, where they have been competing, most recently at the World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen 2004 in Germany. The Dressage Team earned the bronze medal in the Nations Cup competition and the Show Jumping team placed second to Germany in the prestigious Super League competition.

The Eventing team and replacement riders shipped to England on Sunday, July 19th, where they will train until arrival in Athens on August 10th.
