Now the riders continue over #13 which has logs angled vertical rather than horizontal with brush on top and some width to this solid jump. Fence #14 A,B,C is an upward jump and since all of the first part of the course is pretty much going up this comes at a time when the horses are fairly tired. Jumps #15 and #16 are focused around bees and honey. #15 looks like a house and #16 is surrounded by rocks, #17 is more logs built at different angles in the jump. These jumps come to life if you take the time to look at all the pictures. It’s referred to as the horse stable in a miniature version. During the chariot races it was the owners, not the drivers who were declared the winners.

An olive leaf is the focus of #18 and is a jump the horses must go through. The wreath of an olive branch was often the prize in ancient times whereas now it is a symbol of peace and an appropriate concept for the course. #19 is a solid jump with brush above. On the jump are words written in Greek which when translated mean “every obstacle is always to your advantage.” #20 is a chair jump which when viewed from the front does not show just how wide this jump really is until you get quite close.
