2004 Olympic Games - Show Jumping A Great Start for the U.S. Show Jumping Team Beezie Talks About the Format Beezie said, “I like the format here. I like the format of the World Championships. I like the format of the Nations Cup all on one day. On Sunday there will be someone wishing that today counted and some that won’t. I personally like variety in all the Championships.” You know that having a clear round in the first go would surely be a plus for Beezie and yet she likes the fact that on that last day it’s basically you’ve earned your way into the Finals and now you start from ground zero again. It’ll be interesting to see how it all ends up. For now we move on to the Dressage Grand Prix Special tomorrow, Monday, where there is also controversy about the fact that only three of our riders can go. It’s something that has always been in the rules but was never enforced for the Grand Prix Special, only the Freestyle. So, there are a few disgruntled countries who could have had four riders competing. But not this time around. Tuesday is Nation’s Cup Show Jumping competition. Wednesday is the Dressage Freestyle. Thursday is a day off and Friday is the Finals for the Individual riders in Show Jumping. We are on our last lap here in Athens Greece .
