In Medal Hunt After First Round of the Team Jumping Final

The
United States is tied with the Netherlands for second place after the
first round of the team jumping competition at the Markopoulo Equestrian
Centre, trailing Germany by four penalties. Beezie Madden, of Cazenovia,
N.Y., on Authentic stood at the top of the individual table with a clean
sheet through the second qualifier, while Chris Kappler, of Pittstown,
N.J., and Royal Kaliber were in a seven-way tie for fifth.
The team
jumping competition will wrap up this evening at 8:30 p.m.
