Show Performance Pedigree Available - Member Receive More Records Online
Amarillo, Texas -- American Quarter Horse Association Members now have the ability to view a more comprehensive pedigree record in a more readable format. Today, AQHA unveiled the new Show Performance Pedigree (catalog style). The new pedigree shows valuable information about selected horses and the performance records of its lineage. The pedigree will be in the Member Services area of the AQHA.com Web site. “Searching for a performance pedigree should be simple and fast with the information formatted in such a way that it doesn’t require an expert to decipher the contents,” said Tammy Garrison, AQHA’s Director of Customer Service. “Our Members have made great suggestions concerning online records, and I’m glad that we were able to respond with such a product. I know it will be beneficial to all enthusiasts.” The newly developed record features helpful, summary information relevant to the selected horse, its lineage, and maternal dams in the lineage to three generations. Also, included in the record is a three-generation pedigree to serve as a roadmap for the user. To access the record, Members must select the Member Services section on the Web site navigation bar or simply type in a PIN number and a password in the appropriate spaces on the AQHA home page. Any visitor can become a Member by clicking on the “Join Now” box located at AQHA.com. Each month, AQHA Members receive their first $10 of Internet records free. People who join AQHA also receive America’s Horse, AQHA’s monthly magazine for Members only, as well as exclusive offers from AQHA's team of corporate partners. |
