AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Through a special arrangement with renowned western and equine artist Orren Mixer, Quarter Horse Outfitters has been named the exclusive vendor of Mixer's "Legends of the Breed," which have been featured on the covers of Western Horseman's Legends' series.

The works, which are one of a kind limited edition collectible prints have been designed to allow collectors to purchase individual horses such as King, Wimpy or Leo, or to accumulate "four-in-one" prints like those that appeared on the covers of the famous book series.

"To my knowledge, there has never been an availability of equine art like the 'Legends' prints," said AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer. "I believe people who enjoy the rich history of the American Quarter Horse and especially those whose horses descend from these featured 'legends,' will want to collect this art. Being limited in their production, I suspect they won't last long, so once they're gone - they're gone."

For Legends I, II, III and IV, 750 are available signed only; 500 signed and numbered; 150 signed and numbered artist's proofs; and 25 signed and numbered remarques.
