Catch "America's Horse" Three Times a Week on Outdoor Life Network - Popular series has one hour on Wednesday nights Amarillo, Texas - January 21, 2003 - "America's Horse," the American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television series which brings the joy of the American Quarter Horse lifestyle into millions of homes, launches its new season February 5 on the Outdoor Life Network with episodes scheduled three times a week. "Our goal is to bring the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to more people," said Bill Brewer, AQHA Executive Vice President. "With this change, viewers have the opportunity to enjoy even more of 'America's Horse'." From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. "America's Horse" new season of programming begins February 5 with a trip to the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championships in Amarillo, Texas to meet a Texas and an Idaho cowboy who do the same job but in different ways. Then it's off to the National Reining Horse Association Futurity in Oklahoma City on February 12 for one of the highest-scoring runs in reining history. Take a trip to the warm and sunny White Stallion Guest Ranch in Tucson on February 19 where riding lessons are a must before hitting the trail. The month concludes on February 26 with a return to the NRHA Futurity but it's the non-professionals' turn to shine plus the crowning of America's fastest athletes. "America's Horse" presents a special one-hour program on March 26 at 7 p.m. Eastern dedicated to American Quarter Horse ownership. From evaluating your needs and capabilities to finding a horse which is right for you and all of the responsibilities which go along with ownership, this show is a must for all horse lovers regardless of whether you own horse or not. An encore presentation of this program will be on March 30 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
