American Quarter Horse Adventure Featured on Fox's "Married By America" Amarillo, Texas - March 17, 2003 - An American Quarter Horse adventure is a featured date on tonight's episode of "Married By America," the reality show that follows five singles who put their trust in the American viewing public to play matchmaker. The show will air on FOX Monday, March 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. According to the FOX Web site, on last week's episode (Monday, March 10) the five couples met for the first time and got engaged. On the Monday, March 17 episode, each of the five couples will be sent on an adventure date, allowing them time to get acquainted. One couple's adventure began with a makeover-including proper attire for an afternoon horseback that includes wild rags, cowboy hats and boots. After both were "madeup" the couple saddled up and had a quick riding lesson. After lunch, the couple practiced their roping skills. After that was mastered, it was on to the arena where the couple spent the afternoon roping. Their date was sealed when they rode off into the sunset. Three American Quarter Horses were used through the day-Little Shot of Luck, a 1996 bay gelding; Senor Jose Ole, a 1992 sorrel stallion; and Go Tiny Dawn, a 1984 black mare. After the Monday, March 17 episode, the couples will live together for five weeks. Every week, the least compatible couple is asked to leave the ranch. The winning couple who survives the engagement period will receive a luxury car and $100,000. If they stay together, "Married By America" will buy them a house, according to FOX.com.
