Amarillo, Texas - March 31, 2003 - Cowtown comes alive at the 2003 Fort Worth Stock Show Invitational Ranch Rodeo featured on the April 2 episode of "America's Horse," the American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Eight historic ranches from North Texas and Oklahoma, including three AQHA Best Remuda winners compete in five events derived from everyday ranching activities. Meet two brothers who compete against each other on different teams and a modest young cowboy who takes the top hand award for a team that dominated the competition. "America's Horse" also takes you to the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and introduces the newest inductees including country music legend George Strait and rodeo phenomenon Fred Whitfield. An encore episode of this show is set for Sunday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The full hour of "America's Horse" kicks off at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation of a profile of three extraordinary horses followed by the Fort Worth Ranch Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
