Quarter Horse Legends" Tonight on America's Horse
Amarillo, Texas - April 9, 2003 - What makes a legend? Find out on April 9 when "America's Horse," the American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN), features some of the legends of the American Quarter Horse breed. From foundation sires, like Wimpy and King to racing legends like Refrigerator and Go Man Go, get a glimpse of the stories behind these horses who changed the industry. Also meet the 2003 inductees into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame, which is located in the American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum in Amarillo, Texas. An encore episode of this show is set for Sunday, April 13 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The full hour of "America's Horse" kicks off at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation of a profile of the Fort Worth Ranch Rodeo followed by American Quarter Horse legends at 7:30 p.m. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
