Women in Ranching Featured on Next "America's Horse" - Visit the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame Amarillo, Texas - April 15, 2003 - They've carved a place in what's considered a man's world. Meet outstanding women who've redefined ranching on the April 16 episode of "America's Horse," the American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Three dynamic women head up family ranches in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Learn about the ranching life from a woman's perspective, including the ups and downs of doing business the old-fashioned way in a modern world. "America's Horse" also takes you to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas, a 33,000-square foot tribute to the women of the American West. An encore episode of this show is set for Sunday, April 20 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and Wednesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The full hour of "America's Horse" kicks off at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation of a American Quarter Horse legends followed by this tribute to women in ranching at 7:30 p.m. "America's Horse" continues its coverage of ranching legends with a special one-hour program featuring the historic King Ranch on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
