"Our new tagline works to describe today's AQHA members," said Bill Brewer, AQHA Executive Vice President. "Our members are telling us that they're not just buying a horse or a membership into AQHA. They're living a lifestyle that's rich and rewarding and one that includes the American Quarter Horse. That's really how we decided upon that new positioning line."

While one common bond -the American Quarter Horse - ties more than 341,000 members together, their interests vary. American Quarter Horses for years have excelled on the racetrack, in the show arena on America's great ranches and on a trail ride.

There are ways to get involved with horses that do not require ownership. Opportunities such as partnerships, time-sharing and leasing allow horse enthusiasts to get involved without assuming total ownership responsibilities. Additionally, over the years, AQHA has been dedicated to offering services that are unequaled in the equine industry. Those include corporate partnership offers, "America's Horse," a weekly television show on Outdoor Life Network and America's Horse magazine, which each member receives free six
times a year.

For people who want to get involved, AQHA has established its popular 4aHORSE program, which includes hundreds of professional trainers and breeder worldwide who can help people get connected to horses. Today, 4aHORSE members represent a cross-section of the equine industry, including racing, showing, youth, first-time lessons and dude ranch vacations.
