Quik Jolla Top AQHA Racing Poll
April 29, 2003 - Co-World Champion Whosleavingwho topped the AQHA Racing Poll, now in its second week. Leading the 2-year-old poll again is West Texas Futurity (G1) winner Quik Jolla. Whosleavingwho, a 5-year-old bay gelding by Chicks Beduino owned by Jim Geiler and Kim Kessinger, recently won the Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1). Falling from first to second is Kendall Jackson, a 5-year-old homebred racing for MJ Farms. The Dash Ta Fame gelding has a record of three victories in five starts this year, including two stakes, and also set his second world record, this time at 400 yards. He also holds the 440-yard record. Quik Jolla, a Streakin La Jolla filly owned by Victor and Jose Diaz has started three times and won twice, with earnings of $149,757. She maintained the lead in the 2-year-old poll, leading second place finisher Hidden Dragon. The Dean Miracle filly has an unblemished three-for-three record, including a win in the New Mexico Spring Futurity (RG1). The AQHA Racing Poll is conducted weekly.
