Horses Featured on Next "America's Horse" Television Show -
American Quarter Horses are part of military and police units worldwide
Amarillo, Texas - May 1, 2003 - Meet four-legged officers in a different type of uniform on the April 30 episode of "America's Horse," American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Mounted police units can be found worldwide, including 80 programs in the United States. Meet the ambassadors of law enforcement in Scottsdale, New York City, and Lexington, Kentucky. Plus visit Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and the Army's last horse-drawn artillery unit. An encore episode of this show is set for Sunday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The full hour of "America's Horse" kicks off at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation of the United States Equestrian Team reining event from Houston followed by this look at service horses at 7:30 p.m. "America's Horse" continues its coverage of ranching legends with a special one-hour program featuring the historic King Ranch on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. In 2003, AQHA brings 130 hours of television dedicated to the American Quarter Horse lifestyle to OLN viewers. A full hour of "America's Horse" awaits viewers Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Viewers also can enjoy an encore episode Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
