Zai Wins Evergreen Team Drawing
Ada, Oklahoma - January 12, 2004 - Evergreen Mills introduced its new Evergreen Team in 2003 - a group of professional horsemen and women who represent Evergreen Equine Nutrition products. To commemorate the launch of the Evergreen Team, a drawing was held to "Join The Evergreen Team" where the winner would receive a free private clinic with the Evergreen Team member of his or her choice. When the official drawing was held January 6 at the Ada, Oklahoma headquarters of Evergreen Feeds, the winning entry belonged to Louisa Zai of Aledo, Texas. "Wow! What an awesome way to start the year," she said. "I can't believe I won this!" Zai, who has ridden horses all her life, currently participates in dressage events, and she's looking forward to a clinic with her Evergreen Team member of choice, Multiple World, USAE and All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion, Colleen McQuay, of Tioga, Texas. "I talked about entering the contest with some friends and the consensus was we'd love to spend time learning from Colleen. I'm so looking forward to doing that!" Zai chose McQuay from a group of professionals whose names define success in the competitive arena. Multiple World Champion and AQHA Hall of Famer Jack Kyle, National Reining Horse Association Leading All Time Rider and Million Dollar Earner Tim McQuay, Superhorse Trainer and Multiple World Champion Jackie Krshka, NRHA and AQHA World Champion Pete Kyle and many-time World Champions Robbie and Joan Schroeder all use and endorse Evergreen Feed. Colleen McQuay also looks forward to the clinic day, which will be scheduled for this spring. "It's pretty much an honor to be picked out of a group like the Evergreen Team," she said. Zai was excited about her choice. "I love the chance to ride with a master," she said. "Even in a different discipline, there so much to learn, especially from someone so successful." "With entries from all over the country and even one from Germany, we are very proud of our association with every Evergreen team member," said Evergreen President, Art Dean. "I feel the response to this promotion proves the Evergreen Team is composed of leaders in the industry that everyone recognizes as the professionals they would like to emulate and learn from. We look forward to continued success for them and Evergreen in 2004!"
