Horses Needed For 2004 FEI Children's Jumping Final

Lexington, KY - August 4, 2004 - Hummingbird Nest Farm in Simi Valley, California will be the sight of the 2004 FEI Children's Jumping Final hosting competitors from around the world who have qualified in their native country. Due to the expense of shipping horses, the riders will not bring their own mounts. Since the U.S. is the host nation for this international competition, which is contested on borrowed horses, we must provide enough horses for the 32 riders.

The organizers are asking for help in providing horses for this top level international event. Horses should be able to jump a solid 3' 6" jumper course. The riders, 12-14 years of age, are the top children riders from their country, and are well schooled in the jumper arena. All horses will be drawn and assigned to a rider. Each rider has a specified amount of time to school and if the pairing is not suitable the rider will have the opportunity to be matched with a different horse.

If you are interested in being part of this very special international event for Children jumpers, please contact Silke Azoule, silke@bhep.net, info@hummingbirdnest.com or call 310 271-7469.
