Joe Montana to Perform Cutting Demonstration at Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento Amarillo, Texas - May 23, 2002 - National Football League (NFL) Hall of Famer Joe Montana will perform a cutting demonstration at the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento, Calif. scheduled for Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2 at Cal Expo Center. The demonstration will be Saturday evening, June 1. An AQHA Member since 1996, Montana's horses have earned more than $464,000 in National Cutting Horse Association competition. NCHA has been an AQHA Alliance Member since 1999. Montana was photographed in performance at the 1999 NCHA Derby in Fort Worth-a photograph that was later featured in Sports Illustrated (August 9, 1999). About the
Western States Horse Expo During the three-day exposition, AQHA will present 4aHORSE Test Rides on American Quarter Horses. The "test rides" will give patrons an opportunity to saddle up an American Quarter Horse and "test ride" in an arena. AQHA's "test ride" program is part of the Association's 4aHORSE program. 4aHORSE is quickly becoming one of the most comprehensive resources for horse-related referrals and equine education in the industry.
