The 27-year-old World Champion Rodrigo Pessoa (Brazil), and 1999 Olympic Team Bronze Medallist, is the fourth top rider to be sponsored by the German riding clothes manufacturer Pikeur (F.W. Brinkmann group).

Pessoa, who lives and trains in Belgium with his father, the legendary Nelson Pessoa, made history in 1992 as the youngest show jumper to have competed in the Olympic Games. More recently, he became the only showjumping rider to win three consecutive World Cup titles with the same horse. Pikeur hopes that the sponsorship will open up new markets in South America. There are also plans to develop new products.

Pessoa joins the World and Olympic champion, dressage rider Isabell Werth, and showjumpers Ludger Beerbaum and Franke Sloothaak, who have been working successfully for many years.
