Olympian Captures Prix de Penn National

Harrisburg, PA - October 22, 2001 - 2000 U.S. Olympian, Laura Kraut of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin captured the $50,000 Prix de Penn National aboard, Anthem. Kraut bested a field of 27 starters with the only double clear rounds, crossing the timers in 34.62 seconds. Kraut negotiated the win with the slowest jump off time after Todd Minikus and Oh Star finished with the fastest time of 30.49 but pulled down a rail for a four fault finish.

McLain Ward and Viktor took a third place finish with one rail down and the second fastest time of 31.70 seconds. Viktor ridden by McLain Ward is in the number one position for the AGA horse of the year. McLain Ward is in the drivers seat for rider of the year.
