Aachen, Germany, June 27, 2002 - After finishing second in several recent outings, Ludger Beerbaum put it all together today to win the qualifier for the Grand Prix on his mount the Hannoverian, Goldfever 3, by the sire, Grosso Z. Beerbaum had the brass ring finally in sight and wasted no time grabbing it. Beerbaum and Goldfever 3 were 100% today, moving forward and and maintaining focus as a team. It paid off for him as he finished in front of Otto Becker on Lando by .20 of a second and Rolf Goeran Bengtsson of Sweden by nearly half a second.
