Wellington, FL – March 5, 2003 – Authentic and Beezie Madden win again! Beezie and Authentic won the $7,500 Cosequin 1.45 m class today. These two also won a 1.40 m Americhoice Speed Class during the Bayer Week at the Winter Equestrian Festival. John Madden Sales and Elizabeth B. Burke own Authentic. Second place was Sasha with McLain Ward riding for owner Harry R. Gill. Laura Kraut was third with Allegiance.

There was a $5,000 1.40 m Time First Jump-off, which began with a huge field of 100 horses. Liberty ridden by Laura Kraut was scheduled as 83rd in the original order and finished on top with the victory. Liberty, a bay mare, finished the jump off in 34.944 seconds and she is owned by The Summit Group. Laura Kraut said “she is a feisty, Dutch bred mare and I am thrilled with her win today.” Second was Kondor with James Benedetto riding with a jump-off time of 35.037 seconds for the Kamine Family and James Benedetto. Sweet Dreams was third placed with Yann Candele up.

In 3’3” Pre-Green Hunters today, Smart Society won one class and was second in the other – a nice way to start the division. Sandy Ferrell rides Smart Society for owner Jack Stedding.

The Regular Conformation Hunters started the division with a little spread out amongst the top. Superman won one over fence class and was second in the other over fences. Chopard had the same - one win, one second in the over fences. While Summer Rally won the model and Clarendon won the hack for this division.
