Chapot and Little Big Man Win the 1.45 m Class
Tampa, FL March 25 The Tournament of Champions week at the Winter Equestrian Festival started today and begins the last week of showing on this prestigious winter circuit.
Laura Chapot won the $7,500 1.45 m Time First Jump Off riding her own horse, Little Big Man. Sixteen horses entered the class and May owned by the Pasmore Stables and ridden by Laura Kraut was second.
Scott Stewart won two 3 Pre Green Hunter classes with Dynamic. Dynamic is owned by Mimi Tashjian. Scott also dominated the Pre Green 3 & 4 Year Olds by winning two classes with Missy Clarks Catnap. Jimmy Torano won both Pre Green 33 classes with Endearing who is owned by Anne Emmett. All results are posted at www.stadiumjumping.com.
The $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational will be held March 29, Saturday, at 7:00 PM in the Raymond James Stadium. Thirty horses will be invited by the amount of money won during the Winter Equestrian Festival in designated classes. This class has one of the largest purses of any Grand Prix type competition in this nation.

Tickets for Winter Equestrian Festival at Tampa Fairgrounds are Wednesday through Friday $5. Children under 12 years are free. Saturday and Sunday Adult tickets are $10. Seniors and Students are $5 all days. For schedule, directions and information visit www.stadiumjumping.com.
