Kraut and Liberty Win the NAL Americhoice Challenge Again!
Tampa, FL March 27 At the Tournament of Champions, Laura Kraut and Liberty won the $5,000 NAL Americhoice Challenge. Liberty is a Dutch Warmblood mare and is owned by The Summit Group. This pair also won the Americhoice Challenge last week at the Tampa Bay Classic. Twenty seven horses attempted the course.
The North American League (NAL) runs season-long series in six hunter and jumper divisions Childrens Hunter, Childrens Jumper, Adult Hunter, Adult Jumper, Pony Jumper, and Open Jumper Speed. Each series culminates with a championship final at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA, in October. Riders need not be members of the NAL to compete in any qualifying classes, but only current members earn points toward year-end finals. Dynamic was Pre Green Hunter Champion with Scott Stewart riding for Mimi Tashjian. Dynamic is also the Winter Equestrian Festival Circuit Champion in this division.
Regular Conformation Hunter Champion was Canterbury with Callan Solem riding for owner Rosemary Salow.
