Grand Prix Jumper "Kaskaya" Stolen from Rudy Leone's Barn

Sacramento, CA - November 18, 2004 - On Wednesday night (Nov. 17) Rudy Leone's grand prix horse, Kaskaya was stolen from the Leone Equestrians property. "The mare is gone and so is her passport. Someone broke into the office and just took the one passport. Nothing else was taken, just the horse and the passport," said Leone.

Kaskaya is a dark brown, ten year old mare that Leone's former wife, Andrea showed in the grand prix ranks. Based on the circumstances, it seems the thief was after the one specific horse.

The Sacramento Sheriff's department is involved in the investigation. If you have any information about Kaskaya, please call Rudy Leone at (916) 531-2969.
