Buck Brannaman Demonstration During Winter Equestrian Festival to Include Spanish Translator
The Brannaman demonstration held during the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) will have a unique aspect. There will be an interpreter available for all Spanish speaking grooms, owners, trainers, and equestrians, so that they will be able to fully understand the demonstration and have their questions answered. “We do not want language to be a barrier from someone learning more about horses through Buck Brannaman’s techniques,” a representative of WEF explains. “We would like to encourage all horse owners to buy a ticket for their horses’ caretakers.” Buck Brannaman is known for his amazing ability to work with young or troubled horses and getting them to work with him by developing mutual respect. The demonstration is a great way for horsemen and horsewomen of all disciplines to learn how to communicate better with their horses through non-aggressive techniques. For the demonstration, Brannaman will work with two young horses from the Wellington area. Spectators will see how he trains green horses, gaining their trust and reaching a true, honest communication. Brannaman always works with his and the horse’s safety in mind. General admission auditing tickets are $45, and tickets for children under 16 are $15. There will be a special VIP ticket package for $150 that includes a pre-event Meet & Greet with Buck, a seat in the fabulous Jockey Club, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to bid on spectacular items in the live auction. Country western singer Chad Murphy will provide music for the event. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or credit card.
